Rick’s career spans nonprofit animal-welfare leadership, veterinary-clinic development, entrepreneurship, community strategy, and implementation. He founded and formerly led First Coast No More Homeless Pets, helped develop and operate major nonprofit veterinary hospitals, and led high-volume spay/neuter and access-to-care programs.
His work has included community cat and Return to Field strategies, targeted spay/neuter, major adoption initiatives, coalition development, and involvement in programs shared with communities nationally. He was involved in co-founding Target Zero Institute.
Today, Rick serves as Managing Partner of Community Cat Clinics, an independent, for-profit, feline-only access-to-care model. His experience includes concept development, business planning, sites, facilities, construction, equipment, staffing, marketing, launch, and ongoing clinic operations.
